27 January, 2020

Օn January 27, under the Honorary Auspices of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to the Czech Republic, the Naghash Ensemble of Armenia, headed by prominent American-Armenian Composer John Hodian, held an amazing concert at the hall named after Josef Suk of the Prague Rudolfinum. The concert was attended by Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian and his spouse, the Embassy staff and many representatives of the Armenian Community in the Czech Republic. Numerous Czechs and foreigners were among the audience, each having uniquely discovered for themselves
the contemporary art of Armenian spiritual and folk music. During the concert John Hodian spoke about who Naghash was and his poetry, the tragedies that the Armenians have experienced and how the Ensemble came into being.
